Story of Electric Callboy

Electric Callboy: From Electrocated Roots to Viral Sensations

Electric Callboy, formerly known as Eskimo Callboy, is the German electronicore powerhouse hailing from Castrop-Rauxel, formed in 2010. Emerging with a blend of post-hardcore ferocity and introspective lyrics, the band evolved into a global phenomenon, electrifying audiences with their signature blend of comedic songwriting, high-octane live performances, and unforgettable music videos. Beyond the stage, catch them dropping explosive DJ sets as Electric Bassboy.

Early Years: Forging Their Sound (2010-2013)

The band`s journey began with their self-released debut EP, Eskimo Callboy, in 2010, initially distributed via EMP and later re-released on Redfield Records. This early material showcased their raw energy, landing them support slots for established acts like Bakkushan, Callejon, Ohrbooten, We Butter the Bread with Butter, and Neaera. Festival appearances alongside Casper, Distance in Embrace, and Rantanplan further cemented their place in the German rock scene.

In 2011, Electric Callboy brought their explosive performance to Traffic Jam Open Air and Mair1 Festival. Their debut full-length album, Bury Me in Vegas, dropped worldwide via Redfield Records on March 23, 2012, marking a significant milestone. The album`s release propelled them onto the international stage, leading to a Geki Rock Tour in Japan (September 28-30, 2012) followed by tours of China and Russia. Back in Europe, October and November 2012 saw them supporting Callejon on their German and Austrian tour, further expanding their fanbase.
