Emerging from Janesville, Wisconsin, in 2014, Versus Me quickly established themselves as a formidable force in the American metalcore scene. Their trajectory began with an immediate impact: the band`s debut single, "(A)Tension," dropped in 2015, instantly garnering significant attention with a powerhouse guest vocal appearance from Craig Mabbitt of the renowned Escape the Fate, setting an ambitious tone for their future.

The roots of Versus Me run deep within the heavy music landscape, signifying a convergence of seasoned talent. The core of the band is built around the Milbrandt brothers, James and Lee, who previously lent their guitar and bass prowess, respectively, to the Wisconsin-based metalcore outfit Serianna.
