Formation and Career Beginnings of Accusefive

Accusefive, a Taiwanese rock band, was founded in April 2017 in Yilan County, Taiwan. The band consists of lead vocalist and guitarist Pan Yun-an, vocalist Tsai Hsin-lun (also known as Chuan Ching/Quan Qing), and drummer Richard Lin. Tsai and Pan had a pre-existing relationship from National Yilan Senior High School, contributing to the band's chemistry. Their name, meaning 'accuse five people', was chosen randomly without special significance. In October 2017, they released their first mini-album 'Son of Mist.' This debut marked their entry into the music industry and earned them the Best New Artist award at the 9th Golden Indie Music Awards, signaling a promising start to their career.

Rise in Recognition and First Full-Length Album Release

Accusefive continued to build momentum with their 2019 album 'Somewhere in Time, I Love You'. This release established them further in the Taiwanese rock scene and led to significant industry recognition. At the 31st Golden Melody Awards in 2020, the album was nominated for Best New Artist and Best Band, highlighting their growing popularity and critical acclaim. Accusefive (告五人; Gàowǔrén), a Taiwanese rock band, burst onto the scene in 2017 with a sound that’s both fresh and nostalgic. The band, hailing from Yilan County, is comprised of lead vocalist and guitarist Pan Yun-an, vocalist Tsai Hsin-lun (Chuan Ching), and drummer Richard Lin.
