TSS

Formed in France in 2016, TSS—originally recognized as The Sunday Sadness—is an alternative metal outfit known for blending raw sonic aggression with a moody, melancholic atmosphere. Rising from the French heavy music underground, the band established an identity centered on emotionally charged songwriting, punchy guitar riffs, and contemporary rock sensibilities that balance cathartic heaviness with dark, introspective melodies.

The group laid the foundation for their distinct aesthetic on their self-titled debut album, The Sunday Sadness, released in early 2019. Building on that foundation, TSS returned in 2022 with Regrets, an offering that deepened their thematic scope and honed their dynamic, genre-crossing approach to alternative metal. Their creative evolution continued to expand with the ambitious 2025 release, END OF TIME, which embraced polished, expansive production while retaining the raw emotional weight characteristic of their earlier recordings.

Operating as an underground secret with a dedicated, niche following, TSS exemplifies the creative experimentation thriving within the European heavy scene. Through nearly a decade of persistence and a growing body of work that bridges alternative metal and dark melodic rock, the band continues to craft a deeply resonant voice tailored for fans of atmospheric and introspective heavy music.
