Formed in the United States in 2005, Periphery stands as one of the defining forces in modern progressive metal. Widely recognized as trailblazers of the djent subgenre, the band carved out a distinct identity by fusing polyrhythmic complexity, technical mathcore agility, and hard-hitting metalcore aggression with soaring melodic sensibilities.
