Unleashing a torrent of unadulterated aggression, Distant stands as a formidable force in the modern deathcore scene. Hailing from the Netherlands and Slovakia, this crushing metal band first emerged in 2014.

After forging their brutal sound, Distant dropped their pulverizing debut full-length album, Tyrannotophia, in 2019 via the respected underground powerhouse, Unique Leader Records. This seminal release quickly established their unique sonic identity. Building on that momentum, their highly anticipated sophomore effort, Aeons Of Oblivion, followed two years later. The band`s relentless drive culminated in a landmark signing with metal giant Century Media Records, leading to the release of their crushing third album, Heritage, in 2023.

2024 saw Distant revisit their roots with Tsukuyomi: The Origin, a fully reimagined and expanded version of their brutal 2017 Tsukuyomi EP. This monumental reinterpretation elevated the original material with a fresh ferocity and an all-star lineup of guest vocalists. The album features powerhouse collaborations from deathcore and metal royalty: Alex Erian of the iconic Despised Icon, Triviums genre-defying frontman Matt Heafy, David Simonich of the explosive **Signs of the Swarm**, and Travis Worland from the relentless **Enterprise Earth**. These monumental guest spots further cement Distants standing among the heavy music elite.
