2011

Formation and Early Beginnings

Drug Church was formed in Albany, New York, as a side project for singer Patrick Kindlon, known from Self Defense Family. The original lineup included Kindlon, guitarist Nick Cogan, bassist Cory Galusha, and drummer Chris Villeneuve. The band released a three-song demo online, showcasing a raw and aggressive punk sound that began building their reputation in the hardcore and punk scenes.
2012

Signing and Debut EP Release

By early 2012, Drug Church was signed to No Sleep Records, a notable label in the punk and hardcore community. They released their debut EP, 'Swell,' which was critically acclaimed for its energetic and raw sound. This EP established the band's presence with its fusion of punk rock and post-hardcore influences and laid a strong foundation for their future work. Patrick Wynne also joined the band on bass, allowing Cory Galusha to switch to guitar.

Release of Debut Full-Length Album 'Paul Walker'
