Genesis & Evolution

The foundational riffs of Disembodied Tyrant were first forged in 2020 by the potent pairing of vocalist Donovan Parchment and seasoned producer Wilhelm Vickers, notably recognized for his tenure with the extreme metal outfit HVLFERN. This initial lineup quickly established the bands aggressive sonic blueprint. A pivotal transformation occurred in **November 2021** with the arrival of multi-talented **Blake Mullens**, who assumed roles as vocalist, guitarist, and primary songwriter, reshaping the bands creative core. Mullens` induction coincided with the departure of both Parchment and Vickers the following August, marking a new era for Disembodied Tyrant.

Unrelenting Output

Disembodied Tyrant wasted no time unleashing their sonic assaults upon the heavy music world. January 2021 saw the release of their impactful debut single, "Limbo," a powerful statement of intent. Later that year, they solidified their early momentum with their debut EP, Eclipse, Pt. 1, which showcased their burgeoning deathcore prowess.

Demonstrating a bold embrace of genre-bending innovation, May 2024 heralded the arrival of the collaborative EP, The Poetic Edda. This ambitious project saw Disembodied Tyrant join forces with the acclaimed symphonic deathcore purveyors Synestia, delivering a truly epic soundscape. A standout track, "Winter," captivated listeners with its audacious reimagining of the 4th Concerto from Antonio Vivaldi`s classical masterpiece, The Four Seasons, fusing baroque elegance with guttural ferocity. Continuing their prolific streak, several months later they dropped another crushing EP, The Tower: Part One, further cementing their status as a relentless force in modern extreme metal.

Major Label Ascent

A testament to their growing influence and undeniable talent, March 2025 marked a significant milestone for Disembodied Tyrant as they officially inked a coveted deal with Nuclear Blast Records, one of the most prestigious labels in heavy metal. This major label signing was celebrated with the release of their explosive new single, "8.6 Blackout," accompanied by a visceral music video that immediately resonated with fans and critics alike, propelling Disembodied Tyrant into the global metal spotlight.
