2014-2021: Formation, Sublimated EP, and Festival Breakthrough
Ego Kill Talent was conceived in December 2014, bringing together seasoned musicians from prominent Brazilian rock acts like Udora, Sepultura, Reação em Cadeia, and Sayowa. Their debut EP, Sublimated, dropped in November 2015, showcasing their signature blend of hard-hitting riffs and melodic sensibilities. The EP was produced at Family Mob Studios, a studio co-founded by Jean Dolabella and Estevam Romera. In mid-2016, they followed up with their second EP, Still Here, further solidifying their presence in the Brazilian rock scene. The year culminated in a series of high-profile festival appearances, including a standout performance at Lollapalooza Brazil, introducing their innovative sound to a wider audience. Later in 2016, Niper Boaventura replaced Estevam Romera in the lineup, marking a new chapter for the band. Ego Kill Talent continues to push boundaries and redefine the expectations of modern rock.
