Currents

來自康乃狄克州的五人金屬核樂團 Currents 於 2011 年在 Newtown 發跡，由鼓手 Jeff Brown 創立。雖然團員陣容歷經了多次重大變動——自 2018 年起已無任何創始成員留任——但目前的陣容包括主唱 Brian Wille、吉他手 Ryan Castaldi 與 Chris Wiseman（他同時也是 Shadow of Intent 的創始吉他手）、貝斯手兼和聲 Christian Pulgarin，以及鼓手 Matt Young。

他們的音樂旅程始於 2013 年 1 月獨立發行的 Victimized EP。兩年後，他們推出了 Life // Lost EP，並邀請到 This or the Apocalypse 的 Ricky Armellino 客串獻聲。2017 年 3 月迎來了轉折點，Currents 與 SharpTone Records 簽約。這促成了他們在 2017 年 6 月發行首張正式專輯 The Place I Feel Safest，隨後於 2018 年 5 月推出純演奏版本。SharpTone 也在 2018 年 12 月發行了他們的 I Let the Devil In EP，其中也包含純演奏版本。他們備受好評的第二張專輯 The Way It Ends 於 2020 年 6 月由 SharpTone 發行，奠定了他們在金屬核樂界的地位。
