Die Story von The Scratch
Die Dubliner Band The Scratch sind Pioniere eines einzigartigen Sounds und erschaffen eine kraftvolle Fusion aus traditioneller irischer Musik und Heavy Metal. Entstanden aus der Asche der Heavy-Metal-Band Red Enemy aus Perrystown (von der drei Mitglieder den Kern von The Scratch bilden), stürmte die Band 2016 die Szene.
Ihr Debütalbum Couldn`t Give a Rats erschien 2020 und legte den Grundstein für ihr von der Kritik gefeiertes zweites Werk Mind Yourself, das 2023 veröffentlicht wurde. Letzteres brachte ihnen eine begehrte Nominierung für den Choice Music Prize ein und festigte die Position von The Scratch als feste Größe in der irischen Musiklandschaft.
