Formation of Wishy
Wishy is an American indie rock band formed in 2021 in Indianapolis, Indiana. The band's founding members included Kevin Krauter, formerly of the band Hoops, and Nina Pitchkites. Together, they started the new musical project which would later grow to include Conner Host, Mitch Collins, and Dimitri Morris, completing the current lineup. This formation marked the beginning of a fresh indie rock collaboration that quickly gained momentum.
2023
Release of First Two EPs: Mana and Paradise
In 2023, Wishy released their debut extended play (EP), titled Mana. This initial release introduced their indie rock sound to the music scene and began to build their fanbase. Later the same year, Wishy followed up with a second EP called Paradise. These two releases helped establish Wishy's presence in the indie music world, showcasing their evolving sound and attracting critical attention. During this period, the band members solidified their roles, with Kevin Krauter and Nina Pitchkites on vocals and guitar, Dimitri Morris on guitar, Mitch Collins on bass, and Conner Host on drums.
2024
Debut Studio Album Triple Seven and Tour Announcement
On August 16, 2024, Wishy released their debut studio album, Triple Seven, through the label Winspear.
