Wishy

Wishy is an American indie rock band formed in 2021 in Indianapolis, Indiana. The band's founding members included Kevin Krauter, formerly of the band Hoops, and Nina Pitchkites. Together, they started the new musical project which would later grow to include Conner Host, Mitch Collins, and Dimitri Morris, completing the current lineup. This formation marked the beginning of a fresh indie rock collaboration that quickly gained momentum.

In 2023, Wishy released their debut extended play (EP), titled Mana. This initial release introduced their indie rock sound to the music scene and began to build their fanbase. Later the same year, Wishy followed up with a second EP called Paradise. These two releases helped establish Wishy's presence in the indie music world, showcasing their evolving sound and attracting critical attention. During this period, the band members solidified their roles, with Kevin Krauter and Nina Pitchkites on vocals and guitar, Dimitri Morris on guitar, Mitch Collins on bass, and Conner Host on drums.

On August 16, 2024, Wishy released their debut studio album, Triple Seven, through the label Winspear. This album was met with widespread critical acclaim, marking a significant milestone in the band's career. Triple Seven showcased the band's maturity and cohesion musically, positioning Wishy as a rising force in the indie rock genre. Following the release, the band announced a tour for late 2024, intended to promote their debut album and further engage with their growing audience. This period marked a major leap from their EP phase to a fully realized studio album and live performances.

Continuing their creative output, Wishy released their third EP, Planet Popstar, on April 25, 2025. This release demonstrated the band's ongoing commitment to producing fresh music and experimenting with their indie rock style. Coming after their successful debut album, Planet Popstar helped maintain the momentum and interest in Wishy's music among fans and critics alike. The EP further solidified the band’s place in the indie music scene and reflected their evolving artistic vision and collaborative dynamic.
