Make Fire

Forged in 2023 from the crucible of the Midwestern music scene, Make Fire is a hard rock/metalcore outfit born from a literal fight for survival. The band’s origins trace back to Mexico City’s Hell & Heaven Fest, where guitarist Max Carrillo and drummer Sabastian Neudeck first performed together. During the trip, Max suffered a near-fatal bout of altitude sickness that left him with only one functioning lung. This harrowing, life-altering experience ignited an unprecedented wave of creativity; during his recovery, Max wrote a song a day for an entire month, laying the sonic foundation for Make Fire. The lineup was soon finalized with the addition of vocalist Al Herda and bassist Joel Seidlitz, both recruited through established music scene connections.

Make Fire crafts a distinct identity by fusing the emotional resonance of hard rock with the explosive energy of metalcore, drawing inspiration from heavy hitters like Linkin Park, Sevendust, Three Days Grace, and Papa Roach. Currently, the band is putting the finishing touches on their debut EP at the renowned Sienna Studios in Nashville, delivering a high-caliber, emotionally driven sound backed by top-tier production.

The band’s studio efforts are already yielding impressive results. Their debut single, "Ghost," struck a chord globally, garnering over 55,000 streams across 100 countries alongside regional radio play. They sustained this momentum with their sophomore release, "Memories," which quickly eclipsed 20,000 streams. Armed with a rapidly growing fanbase and an undeniable drive, Make Fire remains highly active on the road, bringing their powerful live show to venues and festivals nationwide.
