Formed in the suburbs of Philadelphia in 2004, Circa Survive quickly established themselves as trailblazers of the mid-2000s post-hardcore and emo revival. The band was spearheaded by the enigmatic vocalist Anthony Green, who joined forces with guitarists Colin Frangicetto and Brendan Ekstrom, bassist Nick Beard, and drummer Steve Clifford following his departure from Saosin.
