For festivals
Give your fans a schedule planner they'll actually use
The Band Index is a rock and metal site where fans build their festival schedule, see which sets clash, and share the plan with their crew. We'll make it your official planner, with your logo on it, free until your fans have built 200 schedules.
What your fans get
- Set times by day and stage, entered within 24 hours of publication.
- Must See, Want to See and Maybe picks, with a warning when two sets clash.
- Crew invites, so friends can plan together.
- A poster of their schedule with a QR code, made for posting.
- An offline "Today" view for festival day.
- Nothing to download, and no account needed to start.

What you get as a Founding Festival Partner
- Your official planner. Your logo and an "Official schedule planner" label on your festival page, pinned in our festival list.
- Your data, kept current. We enter your lineup on announcement day and your set times within 24 hours of publication.
- A launch kit. A "Build your schedule" link, a QR code and three announcement graphics.
- A Fan Planning Report within 7 days after the event: how many fans planned, your top must-see acts, the clashes they hit most, shares, and who came back on festival day. Aggregates only, never personal data.
What it costs
Nothing until your fans have built 200 schedules. After that it's a flat $500 for that edition, and the same rate for your next one. You'll see the count in every report, so the invoice is never a surprise.
Want us to make your set-time graphics too? The production pack is $750: a set-time graphic for each day and stage, website-ready schedule copy and images, and a first-timer FAQ.
Founding terms are open to the first 5 festivals.
What we ask
- Link "Build your schedule" from your site and socials when your lineup drops, and again when set times drop.
- Let us name you as a partner.
- A short quote after the event.
What we never do
- Sell rankings or reviews, or let anyone buy our editorial picks. Partners don't get editorial control (editorial policy).
- Call a planner "official" before you've said yes.
- Give partners fans' personal data. Reports are aggregates only.
Questions festivals ask
Is this an app?
It's a web planner on your festival's page at The Band Index. Fans open a link, pick sets and share the result. Nothing to download, and no account needed to start.
Are you affiliated with our festival?
Not unless you say yes. We're an independent rock and metal fan site and list lineups as public information. The "Official schedule planner" label appears only for partners.
What data do we get?
Aggregates only: how many fans planned, top must-see acts, the most-hit clashes, shares, festival-day returns and Seen Live. No names and no email addresses.
What does it cost later?
Nothing until 200 schedules, then $500 for that edition. Either side can end the partnership at any time.
