Formation of The Kooks and Early Beginnings

The Kooks were formed in 2002 in Brighton by Luke Pritchard, Hugh Harris, Paul Garred, and Max Rafferty, all of whom met while studying at the BRIT School and BIMM. Initially, their first rehearsals and attempts at playing gigs were informal, with their first song as a group being a cover of the Strokes' 'Reptilia.'
