Formation of Jinjer and First EP Release

2015

In 2015, the last original founding member, guitarist Dmitriy Oksen, left Jinjer and was not replaced, leaving Roman Ibramkhalilov as the sole guitarist. Following the Russian invasion of Ukraine in early 2022, Jinjer paused their musical career to focus on humanitarian relief efforts for their country. Later in June 2022, the band received official permission from the Ukrainian Ministry of Culture to leave Ukraine and tour internationally as cultural ambassadors. This role highlighted Jinjer's significance not only as musicians but as representatives of Ukrainian culture and resilience on the global stage amidst conflict.

Completion and Release of Fifth Studio Album 'Duél'

In June 2024, Jinjer confirmed they had completed their fifth studio album, titled 'Duél'.
