Formation of Lorna Shore

Lorna Shore was formed in early 2009 in New Jersey by Jeff Moskovciak. The band’s name was inspired by a minor love interest of Batman from the Batman Confidential series. During its initial phase, the band’s sound was rooted in metalcore, evident in their early works.
2010

Release of Debut EP 'Triumph'

In October 2010, Lorna Shore released their first EP titled 'Triumph'. This record showcased a metalcore sound before the band transitioned more heavily into deathcore in their later releases. The debut EP marked the band's formal introduction to the heavy music scene.
2012

Shift to Deathcore with EP 'Bone Kingdom'

In February 2012, Lorna Shore released their second EP 'Bone Kingdom', which represented the band's first solid foray into the deathcore genre, integrating progressive styles. This marked a pivotal moment in their sound evolution toward heavier, more technical music.
2013

Release of EP 'Maleficium' with Black Metal Influences

December 2013 saw the release of Lorna Shore's third EP, 'Maleficium', which incorporated black metal influences, diverging from their prior metalcore and deathcore sounds. The music video for the single 'Godmaker' gained notable popularity on YouTube, increasing the band's visibility. The EP was re-released in March 2014 by Density Records.
2015

2017

Second Album 'Flesh Coffin' and Bassist Departure

Lorna Shore released their second studio album 'Flesh Coffin' on February 17, 2017. The album was produced by Carson Slovak and Grant McFarland and maintained their deathcore sound with a mix of technical and atmospheric elements. Early 2017 also saw the departure of bassist Gary Herrera, who left due to loss of interest in music.
2018

Vocalist Tom Barber Departs and CJ McCreery Joins

Vocalist Tom Barber left the band in April 2018 to join Chelsea Grin, leading Lorna Shore to recruit CJ McCreery from Signs of the Swarm as their new vocalist. The band released singles 'This Is Hell' and 'Darkest Spawn' while continuing touring, including the Summer Slaughter Tour, which expanded their exposure in the deathcore scene.
2019

Lineup Changes and Signing with Century Media

In 2019, guitarist Connor Deffley departed, reducing the band temporarily to a three-piece. They signed with Century Media Records and announced their upcoming album 'Immortal'. Later that year, Andrew O'Connor joined as rhythm guitarist. However, CJ McCreery was abruptly fired in late December following serious allegations against him.
2020

Release of Third Album 'Immortal'

In 2020, Lorna Shore released their third studio album 'Immortal'. The album continued to showcase the band's brutal and technical deathcore style. The band also underwent another lineup change bringing in vocalist Will Ramos, who became integral to the band's revitalization and rising prominence.

Breakthrough Single 'To the Hellfire'
